Yes! Rush in Newcastle! Oh...

Needless to say, the love I feel for the descendants of Zeus, Jehovah and Thor (otherwise known as the rock trio Rush) is immeasurable. So you can imagine my ecstasy when I noticed that Rush are making a visit to the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle next May, an event that could possibly overshadow the second coming of Jesus. Upon hearing this news I scoured the arena's website to find out booking and ticket details, that's when things got a little less joyous. How much would you expect to pay for a concert? £30? £40 at max?

£45-£75.

I was, and still am, appalled. I mean its understandable. Rush are doing the entirety of Moving Pictures for the first time ever, and the set they are playing is 3 and a half hours long. But paying probablies 55 or 60 pound for a decent seat at a concert is shocking (especially at a cesspit like the metro radio arena). Which brings me onto the next issue. The gig is full seating. Just when concerts couldn't get LESS personal, we are restricted to being seated a good 20 feet away from the stage, and that's the front row! Looks like I'll need my glasses.
This whole situation does really upset me, its not the price itself, its the principles of the matter. I think spending £35 on a concert is quite steep, but £45+?

I'm going, even if I have to go alone, but by god Rush you had better put on a hell of a show.
